FMC India Launches Three New Products for Paddy Across Insecticide, Fungicide and Crop Nutrition Segments

19 December 2025, HyderabadFMC India has introduced three new agricultural product innovations at a launch event held in Hyderabad, attended by the company’s India leadership team and customers. The new launches include an insecticide, a fungicide, and a crop nutrition product, aimed at addressing key challenges in rice cultivation and crop productivity.

Among the new offerings is Resonex™ Insecticide, an insecticide formulation developed using FMC’s proprietary AQRION™ technology. The product is designed to support easier application and effective control of stem borer in rice, one of the major insect pests affecting paddy yields. FMC stated that the formulation represents a new approach to insecticide delivery in rice ecosystems.

FMC also introduced Rhyme™ Fungicide (Active Ingredient: Flutriafol), formulated for the management of sheath blight in rice. According to the company, the fungicide offers high systemic movement and longer persistence, enabling extended disease control and supporting healthier crop development during critical growth stages.

The third launch, Vytegris® BO-LA, is a boron-based suspension formulation with a high nutrient load. The product is intended to improve nutrient uptake during flowering, supporting stronger plant growth and improved yield potential. FMC highlighted its role in addressing micronutrient deficiencies that can limit crop performance.
