Aboitiz Foods Announces the Acquisition of Diasham Resources

13 January 2026, PhilippinesAboitiz Foods, the food and agribusiness company of Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc., has acquired Diasham Resources Pte. Ltd. (Diasham), a Singapore-based manufacturer of animal nutrition and health products.

Expanding Portfolio and Capabilities

The acquisition expands Aboitiz Foods’ specialty nutrition portfolio and manufacturing presence in this segment. Diasham has operated in animal nutrition and health for nearly five decades and produces feed additives, water-soluble products, injectables, and liquid products. The company operates manufacturing facilities and supplies customers across the region.

“This acquisition strengthens our specialty nutrition portfolio and allows us to offer a wider range of animal nutrition and additive solutions,” said Eric Nojac, Business CEO at Aboitiz Foods. “By combining our capabilities with Diasham’s experience in animal nutrition, we aim to support growth and expand our presence in this segment.”

“Identifying a partner to continue the business was important to us,” said Tuck Onn Chow, outgoing Owner, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer at Diasham. “Aboitiz Foods shares our values and has the scale to extend Diasham’s reach across Asia. I am confident this next phase will support continued development of the business.”

Strengthening Distribution and Regional Reach

Diasham operates a distribution network across the Asia-Pacific region, including Thailand, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Its partnerships with industry players add to Aboitiz Foods’ regional operations and customer access.

“This acquisition allows us to offer a broader range of products and solutions across the region,” said Tristan Aboitiz, President and CEO of Aboitiz Foods. “Diasham has established customer relationships over many years, which were an important consideration in this transaction. We look forward to working with the Diasham team as we continue serving customers across the region.”

The integration of Diasham supports Aboitiz Foods’ participation across the food value chain through an expanded range of animal nutrition and health products.

The acquisition builds on Aboitiz Foods’ operations in Asia, including its first international investment in Vietnam over a decade ago and the 2018 acquisition of Gold Coin Management Holdings Pte. Ltd., which is now its largest operation outside the Philippines.

Investing in Talent and Expertise

Aboitiz Foods views the acquisition as an opportunity to expand its technical capabilities and workforce.

“This combination allows us to better support our customers,” said Louis Marie Gallois, Vice President for Specialty Nutrition at Aboitiz Foods. “By bringing together teams from both organizations, we can deliver solutions aligned with customer needs.”
