Aboitiz Foods’ Rebranding Wins Gold in the Philippines and Bronze in Asia-Pacific at NEXT Awards 2025
03 December 2025, Philippines: Aboitiz Foods’ rebranding initiative integrating Pilmico and Gold Coin Group under a single corporate identity received two recognitions at the inaugural NEXT Awards 2025, winning Gold in the Philippines and Bronze at the Asia-Pacific level.
The awards ceremony took place on November 27, 2025 at Shangri-La The Fort Manila. The NEXT Awards highlight branding and rebranding programs across the region.
According to Aboitiz Foods, the rebranding was designed to integrate the operations of Pilmico and Gold Coin following the latter’s acquisition in 2018. The unified corporate identity was launched simultaneously across eight countries on August 1, 2024, accompanied by internal engagements such as leadership communication, public relations activities and brand roadshows.
Joeben Gamatero, Aboitiz Foods Vice President for Brand & Reputation Management and Agribusiness Marketing, said the rebrand established a single identity for the company and aligned employees and customers across markets.
Aboitiz Foods’ campaign was recognized under the Most Innovative Branding/Rebranding Campaign category. The company stated that the initiative aimed to reflect a shared purpose, support regional expansion and align teams under one brand.
Winning Gold in the Philippines qualified Aboitiz Foods for the regional round of the NEXT Awards, where it placed Bronze among entries from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Gamatero acknowledged the work of teams involved in the campaign and expressed appreciation to the NEXT Awards jury.

Aboitiz Foods reported that its Risk Management team earned the Risk and Insurance Management Society Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP) credential, indicating compliance with international risk management standards.
The company’s corporate social responsibility programs were also recognized at the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines Corporate Social Impact Awards for initiatives related to livelihood, education and sustainability.
Aboitiz Foods stated that it remains focused on strengthening its regional presence and delivering food products across its value chain under the brand promise, “Together We Nourish the Future.”
