Dual mode-of-action product combines novaluron and CTPR to target pests across their lifecycle and support resistance management
02 September 2026, Tel Aviv: ADAMA has launched Ravari®, a dual mode-of-action insecticide for fruit and vegetable growers in Latin America producing crops for export to the United States.
The new insecticide combines novaluron and CTPR in a water-based suspension concentrate (SC) formulation developed using ADAMA’s Ayalon™ Formulation Technology. The combination is designed to provide growers with an additional tool for resistance management within integrated pest management programs.
Ravari® targets pests at different stages of their lifecycle, including eggs and larvae, helping growers address pest populations before pressure builds. The company said the product provides broad-spectrum control across a range of fruit and vegetable crops while supporting crop quality and yield protection.
ADAMA said its Ayalon™ Formulation Technology is designed to enhance the biological efficacy of water-based crop protection formulations. The technology improves spreading, rainfastness and penetration, while reducing reliance on organic solvents.
“Fruit and vegetable growers today require highly efficient solutions that not only protect crop quality but also support resistance management and meet the stringent demands of export markets,” said Sandeep Sandhu, Head of Global Insecticides at ADAMA.
“Ravari® was developed precisely to address these needs, interrupting pest lifecycles at an early stage, delivering reliable and consistent control, and ultimately enabling stronger crop performance and improved grower profitability,” Sandhu added.
Designed for fruit and vegetable production
Ravari® is intended for use across a range of fruit and vegetable crops and provides control of chewing pests and other key insect threats. ADAMA recommends applications from flowering through the pre-harvest period.
The product offers tank-mix compatibility and a one-day pre-harvest interval for crops including tomato, cucumber, pepper and avocado, according to the company.
Field trial data cited by ADAMA showed consistent efficacy across multiple crops and pest scenarios, with the company reporting strong performance compared with competitor products.
Commercial sales of Ravari® are scheduled to begin in September 2026.
