Insecticides (India) Limited Launches New Paddy Insecticide ‘Granuvia’
Insecticides (India) Limited has launched Granuvia, a new paddy insecticide for the management of stem borer and brown plant hopper (BPH) in rice cultivation. The company said the granular insecticide is designed for application at 30–35 days after transplanting and offers long-duration control of BPH along with protection against stem borer during the critical crop growth stage.
Granuvia contains Triflumezopyrim 0.45% + Chlorantraniliprole 0.50% W/W GR as its active ingredients. The product has been developed by Corteva Agriscience. According to the company, the product combines control of brown plant hopper and stem borer in a granular formulation that can be applied through broadcasting after mixing with sand or urea, in line with common farmer practices. Saffire Crop Science Launches New Herbicide ‘PINAKA’ in Central India for Soybean Weed Management
Saffire Crop Science, a group company of Crystal Crop Protection Ltd, has launched its herbicide ‘PINAKA’ in central India, Madhya Pradesh for use in soybean cultivation.
PINAKA is based on Trishakti technology (Active Ingredient: Quizalofop ethyl 3.6% + Fomesafen 12% + Imazethapyr 7% SC) and is designed to control weeds in soybean, including narrow-leaf and broadleaf weeds.
