Corteva Agriscience launches New Insecticide Mavilon® in India

25 May 2026, Hyderabad: Corteva Agriscience has introduced Mavilon®️, its latest innovation in rice crop protection, aimed at providing effective and long-lasting management of Brown Plant Hopper (BPH), one of the most destructive pests affecting rice cultivation in India.

Mavilon®️ is the first advanced granular formulation of its kind introduced in the Indian market for BPH management. The product has been designed for easy broadcasting application, helping farmers reduce dependence on repeated spray applications while ensuring consistent crop protection throughout the growing season.

Powered by the combination of Triflumezopyrim 0.45% w/w and Chlorantraniliprole 0.5% w/w GR, Mavilon®️ not only helps manage BPH effectively but also supports control of dead hearts, promotes healthier tiller development, improves crop sturdiness, and contributes to better quality yields.
