Gaël Hili has served as President and CEO of ADAMA Ltd. since October 2024, succeeding Steve Hawkins. He is also a member of the Syngenta Group Leadership Team and is based in Tel Aviv. Hili brings extensive international experience in the agriculture and chemical industries, having previously served as Head of Europe for Syngenta Crop Protection and Seeds Field Crops.

Before joining Syngenta in 2017, Hili spent 14 years with Dow AgroSciences in senior operational and commercial roles across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, later serving as Global Marketing Director at The Dow Chemical Company. At Syngenta, he served as Head of Europe East and later as Seeds Regional Director for Europe, Africa and the Middle East, before becoming Head of Europe for Crop Protection and Seeds Field Crops.

As ADAMA’s CEO, Hili is leading the company’s transformation strategy, with a focus on profitable growth, cash generation, operational excellence, differentiated crop protection solutions, customer value, and stronger market positioning. His leadership also emphasizes ADAMA’s Value Innovation approach, which aims to deliver differentiated products and solutions that address growers’ practical needs.

Hili holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Université de Technologie de Compiègne, France. He has lived and worked in nine countries across three continents and speaks five languages.
