13 August 2026, Belarus: The Belarus 1502 breaks from MTZ’s wheeled tractor lineup entirely — it’s a tracked (crawler) tractor rated at 158 HP, purpose-built for industrial and reclamation work where wheeled tractors can’t get traction or would damage the ground. It runs an 8-forward/4-reverse gearbox and weighs 12,760 kg, with a low specific ground pressure of just 51 kPa.
What sets it apart: That low ground pressure is the whole point of the design: the Belarus 1502 is engineered to work on weak and waterlogged soils that would bog down or damage under a wheeled tractor’s weight, distributing its mass across the tracks instead. It’s built to run in combination with bulldozer equipment for developing Category I-II soils on road, industrial, and hydraulic construction projects, as well as with agricultural and reclamation implements on soft ground. It’s also rated for year-round operation, including in low-visibility conditions.
Best fit: Land reclamation projects, wet or weak-soil agricultural work, and industrial earthmoving applications needing a low-ground-pressure crawler platform rather than a wheeled tractor.
