Organised by the International Trade & Delegation Federation of Chambers (ITDFC) in collaboration with CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi-NCR, the summit is being held under the theme “Partnering for Prosperity, Nourishing Future Generations.”

The summit’s main edition is scheduled for 7–8 October 2026 in New Delhi, with participation expected from more than 30 African countries. The agenda covers food security and resilient food systems, seeds and agricultural inputs, rice and grains, pulses and cassava, fertilizers and soil health, irrigation, climate-resilient agriculture, food processing and value addition, agricultural finance, AI, digital agriculture, logistics, trade corridors, and global supply chains.

A curtain-raiser held in New Delhi on 24 August 2026 brought together representatives from more than 20 countries, including diplomats, policymakers, researchers, academics, investors, agribusiness leaders, and other agricultural stakeholders. Discussions highlighted the need to move beyond conventional trade towards technology and knowledge exchange, investment, research collaboration, value-chain development, and stronger farmer outcomes.

The summit also places emphasis on South–South cooperation, seeking to connect India’s experience in agricultural research, irrigation, digital agriculture, food processing and agricultural technology with Africa’s agricultural resources, markets and development priorities. This category features summit news, policy discussions, trade and investment opportunities, technology partnerships, agribusiness collaborations, food-security initiatives, research cooperation, climate-smart agriculture, and India–Africa agricultural developments.
