Best Agrolife Incorporates Wholly Owned Subsidiary in Brazil to Expand Agrochemical Business

10 October 2026, New Delhi: Best Agrolife Limited has announced the incorporation of a new step-down subsidiary in Brazil, Best Agrolife Do Brazil LTDA, as part of its plans to undertake agrochemical and agricultural product-related business in the South American country.

In a regulatory filing, the company informed BSE Limited that its wholly owned subsidiary, Best Agrolife Global, Mauritius, incorporated the Brazilian entity. 

The new subsidiary is a limited liability company established in Brazil and is yet to commence business operations.

According to the regulatory filing, Best Agrolife Do Brazil LTDA intends to undertake the sale, purchase and development of agrochemicals, agricultural products and fertilizers, as well as activities related to the creation of intellectual property. The company stated that the subsidiary’s proposed business activities align with Best Agrolife Limited’s existing business operations.

The Brazilian entity has an authorised capital of 50,000 Brazilian reais, divided into 50,000 shares with a nominal value of one real each. The initial subscription towards its share capital is 10,000 Brazilian reais, to be contributed by Best Agrolife Global, Mauritius. The subsidiary is wholly owned through the Mauritius-based entity, which holds 100% of its shareholding.

Best Agrolife stated that the new subsidiary has not yet commenced operations and, therefore, its turnover is not applicable at this stage. The company also disclosed that it is not directly a party to the initial share subscription, which is being undertaken by its Mauritius subsidiary.

The company said the disclosure was delayed because the relevant information and incorporation documents were received late from its overseas consultant due to unavoidable circumstances. It made the regulatory disclosure after receiving and verifying the necessary documents.

The incorporation establishes a new corporate presence for Best Agrolife in Brazil, with proposed activities spanning agrochemicals, agricultural products, fertilizers and intellectual property development.
