Corteva Partners with Arevo to Strengthen Soybean Nutrition in Europe

03 July 2026, New Delhi: Corteva has partnered with Swedish crop nutrition company Arevo to introduce Arginex Soy, an innovative seed-applied crop nutrition system aimed at improving soybean performance and nutrient use efficiency for farmers across Europe.

Arginex Soy is an arginine-based seed treatment developed to strengthen root systems, enhance nodulation, and improve early crop establishment. By stimulating the growth of root hairs, the technology promotes the formation of nitrogen-fixing nodules, enabling soybean plants to utilize nutrients more efficiently from the earliest stages of development. The result is stronger crop resilience, improved nitrogen fixation, and the potential for higher yields while supporting more sustainable farming practices.

Corteva has incorporated Arginex Soy into its European soybean seed treatment portfolio following an extensive technical evaluation that assessed agronomic performance, formulation stability, and compatibility with its existing seed treatment systems. The assessment confirmed that the technology delivers measurable agronomic benefits while integrating seamlessly into current commercial seed treatment processes, making adoption easier for growers.

Commenting on the partnership, Leonardo Costa, EMEA Seed Applied Technologies Leader at Corteva, said the evaluation demonstrated that Arginex Soy offers the consistency and formulation stability required for Corteva’s seed-applied technologies, enabling farmers to establish healthier crops and improve nutrient use efficiency from the start of the growing season.

Niklas Åström, Chief Executive Officer of Arevo, described the collaboration as a significant milestone for the company, stating that the successful technical validation confirms Arginex Soy can be integrated into established seed platforms and brought to farmers through trusted commercial channels.
