Dhanuka Agritech Launches Adjuvant Wetcit Neo and Rice Blast Fungicide Fujita for the Indian Market
29 September 2026, New Delhi: Indian agrochemical maker Dhanuka Agritech Limited has launched two new crop protection products for the Indian market: Wetcit Neo, an adjuvant, and Fujita, a fungicide aimed at controlling blast disease in rice. Both products are for the domestic Indian market only, as per the details disclosed to the National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchage on September 25, 2026
Wetcit Neo is formulated with a blend of avocado oil, blackcurrant oil, and surfactants. According to the filing, it reduces the surface tension of spray water, improving spray spreading, coverage, and penetration, and delivers fast absorption and dry-out. The company describes it as compatible with most pesticide chemistries and says it integrates multiple adjuvant technologies, which typically include wetting, spreading, and penetrating agents, into a single solution rather than requiring growers to tank-mix separate additives.
Fujita is described in the filing as a premium systemic fungicide containing isoprothiolane at 40 percent EC concentration, designed for control of rice blast, including leaf, nodal, and neck blast. Dhanuka says it provides both preventive and curative action, with systemic movement through the plant’s roots and leaves, and works by inhibiting fungal phospholipid biosynthesis to restrict disease development. Isoprothiolane has been registered against rice blast in other rice-growing markets, including parts of East and Southeast Asia, for a number of years; its introduction under the Fujita brand adds a systemic option targeting this disease to Dhanuka’s Indian portfolio.
