KisaanSay Plans to Reach 2 Lakh Farmers by FY27, Expands Sourcing to 15 States

08 October 2026, New Delhi: Direct-from-origin food brand KisaanSay plans to expand its farmer network to 2 lakh by FY27, up from more than 50,000 currently, as the company expands its sourcing footprint from 10 states to 15 states.

KisaanSay currently works with 25 Farmer Enterprises and Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) representing more than 50,000 farmers. As part of its expansion, the company plans to onboard Farmer Enterprises in Mizoram, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, while deepening sourcing partnerships in its existing markets.

The expanded network is expected to support the company’s growth across product categories and increase the availability of region-specific food products. KisaanSay currently offers more than 100 single-origin products across 12 categories, with products sourced, minimally processed and packed at their respective origins.

The company is also expanding its distribution across direct-to-consumer (D2C), e-commerce, quick commerce and offline retail channels. Its current sales mix comprises approximately 60% D2C, 30% marketplaces and 10% offline retail. Products are sold through KisaanSay’s own platform and e-commerce channels including Amazon, as well as quick-commerce platforms such as Zepto, Blinkit and BigBasket. The company also has a presence in select retail stores across Delhi-NCR.

KisaanSay’s expansion follows a sharp increase in revenue, which rose from ₹5 crore in FY25 to ₹20 crore in FY26, representing approximately four-fold growth.

“The larger opportunity in India’s food supply chain is not just to connect farmers with consumers, but to rethink how value moves between the two. A farmer may produce an exceptional, region-specific product, but by the time it reaches the consumer, the connection with its origin and the value created at the farm level can often get diluted,” said Nitin Puri, Co-founder, KisaanSay.

“We believe a more direct model can change that by giving consumers greater visibility into where their food comes from while ensuring farmers participate more meaningfully in the value created around their produce. Scaling our network from 50,000 to 2 lakh farmers is therefore not just a growth target for us; it is about bringing more farmers into a market where provenance, transparency and value creation are linked,” he added.

Under its Co-Brand/Co-Profit model, Farmer Enterprises participate in the supply chain, while KisaanSay manages market access, branding and distribution. The company says more than 50% of consumer spending on each KisaanSay pack goes directly to farmers.

KisaanSay raised ₹34 crore in Series A funding in April 2026, in a round led by NABVENTURES through the AgriSURE Fund. The funding is being deployed towards distribution, technology, supply chain and brand expansion.

The company currently has more than 1 lakh customers and plans to expand its farmer network and product portfolio through FY27.
