Plantix is a digital agriculture platform developed by PEAT GmbH that uses artificial intelligence, computer vision, and agricultural expertise to help farmers identify crop diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies from photographs. The Plantix app provides diagnosis and treatment recommendations, cultivation guidance, disease alerts, weather information, fertilizer calculations, and access to a farmer and agri-expert community. The app is available in 19 languages and covers 30 major crops and more than 780 plant damages, according to its current Google Play listing.

Plantix has developed a substantial agricultural data and AI infrastructure from farmer interactions. The company says its platform has accumulated more than 150 million real field images, including more than 118 million geotagged images, covering 69 crops and 19 languages. This data supports Plantix’s crop-diagnosis technology and its wider Plantix Intelligence business, which provides crop-health APIs and district-level crop and pest signals for agricultural companies and other platforms.

Plantix also operates Plantix Partner, a digital platform for agricultural retailers, connecting farmers and suppliers while supporting retail operations and access to agricultural products. Its technology has also been integrated into other agricultural platforms, including ITCMAARS, where Plantix’s diagnostic technology provides a crop-health module for farmers and FPOs.
