Parijat Industries Announces Strategic Collaboration with HELM and Plantix

18 August 2026, New Delhi: HELM AG and Parijat Industries (India) Limited have announced a strategic collaboration covering digital commerce, branded crop protection products, technical manufacturing and international distribution.

The collaboration brings together HELM’s global agri-input portfolio and technology platforms, including its portfolio company PEAT GmbH, developer of the Plantix digital agriculture platform, with Parijat’s manufacturing capabilities, formulation development expertise and distribution network.

The partnership is expected to strengthen Parijat’s presence in India while expanding its role in HELM’s global supply chain and opening new international market opportunities.

Expanding Parijat’s Presence in India

Under the collaboration, Parijat will acquire a retailer-focused digital commerce platform and associated retailer database. The platform is intended to support procurement efficiency, market access and product distribution across key regions.

Parijat will also work with the Plantix team to leverage its farmer engagement and demand-generation capabilities, including the exclusive integration of certain features for direct-to-farmer marketing.

The companies are also establishing a new brand line in India. Parijat and its subsidiary Leeds Lifesciences have secured exclusive rights to use the HELM brand in India. Parijat also plans to introduce HELM’s Plant Advantage Line, which includes biostimulants and biological products, in the Indian market.

Parijat to Support HELM’s Global Supply Chain

The collaboration also covers manufacturing and product development. Parijat intends to develop technical manufacturing capabilities for proprietary molecules developed by HELM and become a toll manufacturing partner for HELM’s global active ingredient and formulation requirements.

The partnership is also expected to provide Parijat with access to additional international markets. Its products are proposed to be expanded into Latin America, Canada and Southeast Asia through HELM’s established distribution network.

Parijat will also seek to leverage HELM’s global sourcing network to improve procurement competitiveness and work with HELM’s network of multinational innovators on product co-development opportunities in India.

Uday Raj Anand, CEO – Domestic Business at Parijat Industries, said the collaboration with HELM and Plantix supports the company’s focus on digital technologies for farmer advisory and distribution. “The partnership with HELM and Plantix is an important step towards Parijat’s vision towards the use of digital technologies for farmer advisory and distribution in the Agrochemical industry,” Anand said.

He added that the opportunity to introduce products carrying the HELM brand in India represents an important step for Parijat and reflects the company’s international positioning.

Shivraj Anand, CEO – International Business at Parijat Industries, said the partnership would allow the two companies to combine their sourcing and distribution capabilities across markets.

“With this global strategic partnership, HELM and Parijat have the opportunity of leveraging each other’s sourcing and distribution strength across continents and aim to truly create a winning solution for farmers,” he said.

Stephan Schnabel, CEO at HELM AG, said the partnership reflects the company’s approach of building long-term relationships based on trust and shared values. “I am therefore very pleased that we have found a strong partner in India with Parijat Industries,” Schnabel said.

He added that combining HELM’s global network and experience with Parijat’s local capabilities could create opportunities for customers, growers and the wider agricultural value chain.
