17th Brasil AgrochemShow 2026 to Discuss Reducing Losses in Agrochemical Spraying Operations
16 May 2026, São Paulo: The 17th edition of the Brasil AgrochemShow 2026 will focus on challenges and efficiency in agrochemical application technologies, including ways to reduce losses during spraying operations in agriculture. The event will be held on August 3–4, 2026, at the Centro de Eventos São Luís in São Paulo, Brazil.
One of the featured sessions will address how crop protection products can be applied more effectively under increasing food demand and stricter environmental requirements. The lecture, titled “Challenges in the Application of Crop Protection Products With Increased Food Demand and Environmental Requirements,” will be delivered by Marcelo da Costa Ferreira, an agronomist and professor at São Paulo State University. Ferreira currently heads the Department of Plant Health and coordinates the Center for Studies and Development in Application Technology.
The session will examine factors that influence agrochemical spraying efficiency, including equipment calibration, spray volume, droplet size, weather conditions, deposition, drift reduction and operational safety. Organizers said these issues are becoming increasingly important as Brazilian farmers face higher production costs, tighter margins and more selective access to agricultural credit.
The event is being organized by AllierBrasil in partnership with CCPIT Chem. According to the organizers, the exhibition and conference aim to strengthen technical and commercial partnerships between Brazilian and international companies while expanding information exchange related to agrochemicals and bioinputs.
More than 1,500 exhibitors and visitors are expected to participate, representing sectors including agrochemicals, biological inputs, regulation, logistics, research, consulting, distribution and agricultural innovation. Global Agriculture is the media partner for the event.
Registration is available through the official event website, with entry linked to donations of food hampers for the NGO Crê-Ser in São Paulo. Organizers said the 2025 edition collected approximately 14,000 kilograms of food donations.
