New Corteva Headquarter to Be Based in Indianapolis, Vylor in Johnston USA
13 May 2026, Indianapolis: Corteva has announced the proposed headquarters locations for the two companies that are expected to emerge following its planned separation in the fourth quarter of 2026. The company stated that the future crop protection business, referred to as “New Corteva,” will be headquartered in Indianapolis, while the advanced seed and genetics company, Vylor, will be headquartered in Johnston.
According to the company, the decision reflects the long-standing presence of its operations and agricultural research activities in both Indiana and Iowa.
New Corteva is expected to house the company’s crop protection portfolio and nature-inspired technologies business in Indianapolis, including its research and development operations. Corteva stated that Indiana’s biosciences ecosystem was a factor in selecting the location. The company also plans to maintain a Global Corporate Business Center in Wilmington.
Vylor, the proposed seed and genetics business, will be headquartered in Johnston, Iowa, where Corteva’s Pioneer seed operations are based. The company said the business will focus on seed and genetics technologies, including biotechnology and germplasm development, while also evaluating opportunities in additional crops and related areas. Vylor will maintain a Global Corporate Business Center in Southeast Pennsylvania.
The separation of Corteva into two independent companies is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary approvals and conditions.
