Under the revised organizational structure, Jai Shroff, Group Chairman and CEO, will directly lead UPL’s Global Crop Protection business, while Ashish Dobhal will oversee the company’s operations across the Americas. The leadership changes are intended to strengthen execution, accelerate decision-making, and support UPL’s strategy of building a simpler, flatter, and more agile organization.

Dobhal brings more than 23 years of leadership experience across global agricultural markets in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. His career has included senior leadership roles spanning sales, research and development, mergers and acquisitions, and business management.

He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of UPL Sustainable Agri Solutions (SAS), where he held full profit-and-loss (P&L) responsibility. Most recently, he led UPL’s global sales and supply chain functions, driving growth initiatives, strengthening organizational capabilities, and improving operational performance.

The appointment follows the announcement that Mike Frank will step down as Chief Executive Officer of UPL Corporation Limited, effective August 31, 2026. As part of the new leadership structure, Sameer Tandon has been appointed President – APAC, Africa and Europe.

According to UPL, the expanded leadership team is designed to ensure strategic continuity while enhancing execution across key markets and creating long-term value for customers, partners, and shareholders.
