06 August 2026, New Delhi: Syngenta has appointed Eladio Robles as Country Head and Managing Director for India, effective August 3, 2026. The leadership transition comes as the company looks to accelerate growth in one of its most strategic global markets through innovation, customer-centricity, sustainability and operational excellence.
Robles brings more than two decades of international leadership experience spanning business management, manufacturing, supply chain and operations. Prior to assuming his new role in India, he served as Head of Production & Supply for Africa, Middle East and Asia (AMEA). Since joining Syngenta in 2004, he has held several leadership positions across international markets, contributing to business transformation, operational excellence, supply chain resilience and sustainable growth.
During his previous assignment, Robles played a key role in strengthening supply chain performance, improving operational efficiencies and enhancing customer-focused operations while supporting sustainability initiatives and greater integration across Syngenta’s global network.
