01 August 2026, Germany: The third-generation Fendt 500 Vario was engineered around the daily realities of livestock and dairy farms — chores, haying, mowing and light field work — while bringing the full FendtONE cab and operator platform to a mid-range tractor for the first time.
Model range: 512, 513, 514 and 516 Vario, from 124 to 163 hp (107–137 PTO hp).
Engine and transmission: A 4-cylinder, 4.04-litre Deutz engine with common-rail injection and SCR after-treatment powers the range, matched to the stepless Fendt Vario continuously variable transmission (CVT) for smooth, responsive power delivery in loader and transport work.
Standout feature — FendtONE cab as standard: Up to three large display screens put all tractor functions on-screen, with a smartphone-style home button and push-dial controller for guidance, hydraulics, service diagnostics, air conditioning and entertainment. Fendt added a live third valve to the front loader circuit specifically to simplify daily chores.
