Fendt 800 Vario Gen5 — Up to 343 hp with a 7.6-Tonne Payload

01 August 2026, Germany: The fifth-generation Fendt 800 Vario Gen5 is the first tractor to run AGCO Power’s all-new CORE80 engine. Combined with an optimised frame that keeps empty weight low, it delivers an outstanding payload for its class and round-the-clock operational strength.

Model range: 826, 829 and 832 Vario, from 260 hp rated (283 hp with DP) up to 320 hp rated (343 hp with DP).

Standout feature — 7.6-tonne payload: An optimised, low-weight frame structure lets the Fendt 800 Vario Gen5 carry an incredible 7.6 t of payload without exceeding the 17.5 t permissible overall weight (40/50 km/h version), reducing the number of trips needed for heavier implements and transport work.

Engine: The new AGCO Power CORE80, an 8.0-litre six-cylinder unit, runs the Fendt iD low-speed concept (700–1,700 rpm) and reaches 60 km/h at just 1,450 rpm. Fendt DynamicPerformance adds up to 23 hp on demand.

Key highlights:

  • 114,700-lumen 360° UltraVision lighting concept with GroundVision drawbar illumination
  • VarioDrive drivetrain with 10% smaller turning circle via the pull-in turn effect
  • Concentric Air System cooling fan (up to 40% less drive power)
  • Hydraulic flow up to 385 l/min, up to eight double-acting valves
  • Four-speed (540/540E/1000/1000E) or three-speed (540/900/1000) rear PTO options
  • Fendt Stability Control and Trailer Brake Assist for safe 60 km/h transport
  • 12-litre cooling box, premium massage seat and digital bonnet/rear cameras

For farms and contractors who move heavy loads day and night, the Fendt 800 Vario Gen5 pairs serious payload capacity with a genuinely new-generation cab and lighting package.
