Fendt 600 Vario — Up to 224 hp with VarioDrive in the Mid-Power Class
01 August 2026, Germany: The Fendt 600 Vario is a completely new series that brings large-tractor technology — including the VarioDrive independent four-wheel drive — down into the mid-power segment for the first time, in a genuinely compact, all-round package.
Model range: 614, 616, 618 and 620 Vario, from 149 hp rated (164 hp with DP) up to 209 hp rated (224 hp with DP).
Standout feature — VarioDrive in the mid-range: Previously reserved for Fendt’s large tractors and the 700 Vario Gen7, the single-stage VarioDrive drivetrain now arrives in the 600 Vario, giving independent front/rear axle drive and the pull-in turn effect for tighter, tension-free turns.
Engine: The new AGCO Power CORE50, a 5.0-litre four-cylinder approved for HVO fuel, runs the Fendt iD low-speed concept (800/950–1,900 rpm) and gains up to 15 hp of added performance from Fendt DynamicPerformance.
Key highlights:
- 5.8-tonne payload — a class-leading figure reported by trade press
- Hydraulic flow up to 205 l/min with flat-face couplings front, rear and Power-Beyond
- VarioGrip tyre-pressure regulation and hydraulic steering axle lock
- Category 4 pesticide-application cab option
- VisioPlus cab with 77° continuous field of vision
- Winner of “Machine of the Year 2025” (LAMMA, UK) and “MidPower Tractor of the Year 2025” (EIMA)
- Trade magazine “profi” measured it 10–15% more fuel-efficient than every comparable tractor previously tested
Suited to arable, grassland, transport and front-loader work alike, the Fendt 600 Vario is designed as a genuine all-rounder for mid-sized farms that need large-tractor technology in a compact footprint.
