Fendt 900 Vario MT — Up to 431 hp of Purpose-Built Tracked Power

01 August 2026, Germany: Unlike converted wheeled tractors, the Fendt 900 Vario MT was engineered from the ground up as a dedicated tracked tractor — and it feels like it. It combines Fendt’s experience of installing over 250,000 Vario gearboxes with more than 30 years of tracked-tractor development.

Model range: 938, 940 and 943 Vario MT, from 380 to 431 hp (rated power, ECE R120).

Engine: An AGCO Power 9.8-litre, seven-cylinder engine delivers up to 431 hp, paired with the Fendt iD low-speed concept and Fendt Concentric Air System cooling for efficient, low-noise operation.

Key highlights:

  • Tracks with SmartRide chassis suspension and ConstantGrip roller suspension for comfort and even ground pressure
  • VarioDrive drive concept for tension-free, independent power delivery
  • Up to 440 l/min hydraulic flow for demanding implements
  • Standard Cat. III/IV linkage with 11,500 daN lifting capacity
  • Two-speed PTO (1000 & 1000E)
  • Fendt cab suspension and full Fendt Smart Farming functionality

Built to protect soil while covering large areas efficiently, the Fendt 900 Vario MT is the choice for farms and contractors who want the full benefits of a dedicated tracked platform — grip, low ground pressure and stability — without giving up Fendt’s signature cab comfort and digital tools.
