Fendt 700 Vario Gen6 — Up to 237 hp, Perfected with the Fendt Cargo Front Loader
01 August 2026, Germany: The Fendt 700 Vario Gen6 built its reputation on being the all-round performer — equally at home in grassland work, dynamic transport, or heavy-duty field and fleet operations, with one of the tightest front-loader integrations in the segment.
Model range: 718, 720, 722 and 724 Vario Gen6, from 181 to 237 hp (rated power, ECE R120).
Engine and transmission: A proven 6-cylinder Deutz engine (6.1 litres, 4 valves per cylinder, common-rail injection) delivers 144–237 hp with a 50 km/h top speed. The stepless Vario gearbox and Tractor Management System (TMS) keep the engine at its most efficient operating point automatically.
Standout feature — Fendt Cargo integration: The Fendt 700 Vario Gen6 and Fendt Cargo front loader form a fully matched system: a 77° clear view through the VisioPlus cab, Z-bar parallel guidance, a third loader valve for simultaneous functions, and maintenance access that doesn’t require loader removal.
Key highlights:
- FendtONE onboard/offboard driver’s workstation with multi-function joystick
- Self-levelling front axle suspension and load-relief front power lift
- Rear PTO: 540/540E/1000/1000E; optional 1000 rpm front PTO
- Rear lift capacity of 10,360 daN
- Automatic steering axle lock for towed implements
- FendtActive superimposed steering for faster, more comfortable loader work
- Optional CargoProfi weighing and vibration function for the front loader
For mixed livestock, arable and loader-heavy operations, the Fendt 700 Vario Gen6 remains a dependable, highly versatile mid-large tractor.
