01 August 2026, Germany: The Fendt 1100 Vario MT sits at the very top of the Fendt tractor line-up — a purpose-built tracked tractor, not a wheeled model converted to tracks. It is the first tracked tractor in its horsepower class to run Fendt’s stepless Vario transmission, combining more than 30 years of Fendt track-drive experience with the comfort of a continuously variable gearbox.
Model range: Four models — Fendt 1151, 1156, 1162 and 1167 Vario MT — spanning 511 to 673 hp (ECE R120 maximum power).
Engine: A MAN six-cylinder in-line engine powers the range, with 15.2 litres of displacement on the 1151/1156/1162 and 16.2 litres on the flagship 1167 Vario MT. A common-rail system running up to 2,500 bar injection pressure and a variable-turbine-geometry (VTG) turbocharger deliver smooth, dynamic power even at low engine speeds.
Track system: The tracked undercarriage rides on a full suspension chassis with a 3,000 mm wheelbase, giving a large ground-contact area for maximum traction, lower soil pressure and even weight distribution — even under heavy loads.
