Albaugh India Introduces TANDEM® Fungicide
12 October 2026, Mumbai: Albaugh India Private Limited announces the launch of the new fungicide, TANDEM®, its first patented fungicide in India, making a significant milestone in the company’s crop protection portfolio and reinforcing its commitment to delivering innovative solutions for Indian farmers.
Registered for use in paddy cultivation, TANDEM® contains Carbendazim 11.57% + Tebuconazole 11.57% w/w SC, combining two active ingredients with different modes of action to support effective disease management.
Carbendazim, classified under FRAC Group 1, interferes with fungal cell division, while Tebuconazole, a member of the triazole fungicide group, inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis, affecting fungal cell membrane development. By combining these two active ingredients, TANDEM® is designed to provide broad-spectrum disease management.
“With its dual mode of action, TANDEM® delivers effective broad-spectrum fungal disease management, enabling growers to achieve improved crop productivity,” said Gopesh Pant, India Head Commercial & Strategic Marketing, Albaugh India Private Limited.
Application Guidelines
Albaugh recommends TANDEM® for foliar application in paddy at a dose of 320 mL per acre, mixed with 200 L of water per acre.
