Crystal Crop Protection launches New Fungicide DOMINARIS
26 August 2026, New Delhi: Crystal Crop Protection Limited has launched DOMINARIS, a fungicide for the management of Downy Mildew in grapes for Indian Farmers.
Downy Mildew can affect grape foliage, shoots, inflorescence and developing bunches, with disease pressure during susceptible crop stages potentially affecting crop development and harvest quality.
According to the company, DOMINARIS combines two modes of action and offers acropetal movement, rain fastness and extended protection. The product is intended to act across different stages of disease development, including spores and germinated hyphae, to help limit disease establishment and spread. Global Agriculture reached out to Crystal Crop Protection for details of the active ingredient, but it refrained from sharing the information.
“In high-value crops such as grapes, disease management is closely linked to the quality and economic value of the harvest. DOMINARIS brings together a dual mode of action with rain fastness to address this challenge with a technology-led approach,” said Ankur Aggarwal, Chairman and Managing Director, Crystal Crop Protection.
He added that the company’s focus is on developing crop protection solutions aligned with field requirements and aimed at supporting crop health, quality and profitability.
Sohit Satyawali, Chief Business Officer – Brands Business, Crystal Crop Protection, said that disease management in grapes involves maintaining canopy health and protecting the crop through growth stages that influence harvest quality.
“DOMINARIS has been developed around this need, to create greater value for grape growers throughout the season,” he said.
