Crystal Crop Protection Launches Six New Products for Kharif 2026
14 July 2026, New Delhi: Crystal Crop Protection has launched six products for the Kharif 2026 season across herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and crop nutrition. The company said the products were developed to address weed, disease and insect management requirements in major crops.
The herbicide portfolio includes Samorian (Quizalofop-ethyl 3.6% + Fomesafen 12% + Imazethapyr 7% SC) for soybean and Takuro (Mesotrione 7.5% + Atrazine 60% + Halosulfuron-methyl 3.7% WG) for maize. According to the company, Samorian is intended for the control of grasses and broadleaf weeds in soybean, while Takuro combines HPPD, PSII and ALS modes of action for weed management in maize.
Crystal also introduced two fungicides for paddy: MAXentra (Azoxystrobin 18.75% + Tricyclazole 37.5% WG) and Xeberia (Validamycin 2.8% + Propiconazole 6% EW). The company said MAXentra is intended for disease management across different crop stages, while Xeberia is designed for the management of fungal and bacterial diseases.
The company launched Valtruva insecticide (Flonicamid 18% + Spirotetramat 13.5% SC) for cotton. According to Crystal, the product is intended for the management of sucking pests and provides residual control to reduce the number of insecticide applications.
Crystal also launched KGR-T, a crop nutrition product containing natural potash (20%) derived from Rhodophytes and natural sulphur (1.5%), delivered through an effervescent tablet and based on the company’s Extended Nutrient Release (ENR) technology. The company said the product is intended to improve nutrient-use efficiency and support flowering, fruiting and crop development.
Ankur Aggarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of Crystal Crop Protection, said changing climatic conditions and pest dynamics are influencing crop production, and the company is focused on developing products for these requirements.
Sohit Satyawali, Chief Business Officer – Brands Business, said the products were evaluated across different agro-climatic regions before their commercial launch and expand the company’s portfolio for weed, disease, insect and crop nutrition management.
