FMC’s Paul Brandeis and M&A Advisor Raghunathan Hariharan to Speak at Global Pesticide JV & Toll Manufacturing Workshop 2026
02 May 2026, Singapore: The Global Pesticide JV & Toll Manufacturing Workshop, organised by Pacific Agriscience Pte Ltd, will be held on July 9–10, 2026 in Singapore and will feature two distinguished speakers—Paul Brandeis of FMC Corporation and M&A advisor Raghunathan Hariharan (“Hari”)—bringing deep expertise in manufacturing strategy, contract partnerships, and cross-border deal execution.
Paul Brandeis, Regional Head of Manufacturing at FMC, will provide a multinational perspective on how global agrochemical companies evaluate and qualify toll manufacturing partners. With over 30 years of experience across Asia-Pacific, he has led and supported nearly 30 manufacturing sites spanning electronics, medical devices, and chemicals. His previous tenure at Syngenta saw him managing seven formulation and repacking sites along with a tolling network of around 40 partners across the region, while also overseeing asset network and product siting strategies.
At FMC, Paul plays a strategic role in optimizing manufacturing networks, ensuring compliance with HSEQ and regulatory frameworks, and driving organizational and operational excellence. He holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering from Heilbronn University (Germany), an MBA from Imperial College London, and certifications including PMP, CSCP, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
At the workshop, he will focus on “why and how multinational companies select toll manufacturers”, offering actionable insights for companies aiming to become preferred partners in global supply chains.
Joining him is Raghunathan Hariharan (“Hari”), an experienced M&A advisor and strategy consultant, who will share real-life experiences in cross-border joint ventures and contract manufacturing. Hari advises global clients on pre-deal due diligence, post-deal value creation, and business transformation, while also supporting international companies in shaping their India strategy and developing contract manufacturing opportunities in the chemical and crop protection sectors.
Drawing from successful project experience—covering both intermediates and active ingredients—Hari will address the realities of operating in the highly competitive CDMO (Contract Development & Manufacturing Organisation) space. His session will highlight why some companies struggle to secure toll manufacturing opportunities and how businesses can better prepare themselves to attract and execute strategic partnerships.
Together, these sessions will offer participants a valuable combination of operational manufacturing insight and strategic deal-making perspective, making them highly relevant for companies exploring JV opportunities, toll manufacturing, and global expansion in agrochemicals.
