Ecorobotix and Maya Join Forces to Advance Digital Agronomy

25 April 2026, Switzerland: Ecorobotix and Maya have announced that Maya will become part of the Ecorobotix Group, combining spraying technology with agronomy intelligence for turf and agricultural operations.

The partnership brings together Ecorobotix’s spraying systems and Maya’s data platform, designed to centralize information from weather, soil, agronomy, fleet, and operations into actionable insights. The companies said the move will help connect field application with real-time decision-making.

Founded in Belgium by Valentine Godin, Maya was developed during Belgium’s implementation of a total pesticide ban on managed turf. The platform was built to help turf professionals convert operational data into decisions linked to outcomes and future planning. It is currently used by more than 150 facilities across 12 countries, including golf courses, stadiums, and managed landscapes.

Maya delivers intelligence through web and mobile applications, a conversational AI assistant, and automated alerts covering agronomy, resource management, fleet operations, playing quality, and sustainability reporting.

Commenting on the development, Valentine Godin said the turf and land management sector is undergoing regulatory, environmental, and technological changes, and that joining Ecorobotix would provide the scale and engineering capability needed to expand Maya’s mission globally.

Dominique Megret said the acquisition aligns both companies’ visions of combining field application with agronomic intelligence. He added that integrating data insights with field actions would create opportunities across agriculture and turf management.

Aurelien Demaurex said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to making sustainable land management a standard for operators and ecosystems.

Maya will continue to operate under its own brand, with its existing team, roadmap, and customer relationships. The platform will remain hardware-neutral, serving facilities with or without Ecorobotix equipment. The first connected capabilities between the two platforms are expected in 2027.

The expansion also targets agriculture. Ecorobotix’s ARA sprayer is active in more than 20 countries, while its ALBA turf sprayer is designed for targeted applications, helping reduce chemical use by up to 95 percent. The companies said Maya’s modular data architecture could support future expansion into crop management, creating an integrated environment where agronomy intelligence and field application work together.
