Replexor™ Active (active ingredient: fendioxypyracil) is a novel protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO)-inhibiting herbicide developed by BASF Agricultural Solutions. Designed to deliver broad-spectrum control of both broadleaf weeds and annual grasses, Replexor Active addresses the growing challenge of herbicide-resistant weeds in major crops such as soybean, corn, and cotton. Unlike many existing PPO herbicides that primarily target broadleaf weeds, Replexor Active also provides effective control of key grass weeds, including Eleusine indica, Echinochloa spp., and Setaria spp. The herbicide supports Integrated Weed Management (IWM) and Herbicide Resistance Management (HRM), while enabling no-till farming, reducing soil erosion, and delivering effective weed control at low application rates. BASF began the global registration process in 2026, with the first regulatory submissions in Brazil and Australia, followed by the United States and Argentina in 2027, and commercial launches targeted around 2030, subject to regulatory approvals.
