Novonesis Partners With Rovensa Next for US Biosolutions Market

13 June 2026, North Carolina: Novonesis and Rovensa Next have signed a distribution agreement under which Rovensa Next will commercialize selected Novonesis agricultural biosolutions in the United States beginning with the 2027 growing season.

The agreement will expand the availability of biological products across the crop cycle, from seed treatment to post-harvest. The combined portfolio includes biostimulants, biofertilizers, bionutrition products, biocontrol products, and adjuvants.

The partnership comes as the North American agricultural biologicals market continues to grow, driven by increasing adoption of biological crop inputs across farming systems.

Under the agreement, Novonesis will continue manufacturing the products, while Rovensa Next will manage commercialization and distribution activities in the U.S. market. The collaboration covers major crops including soybeans, corn, pulses, and peanuts.

René Garza, Senior Vice President of Planetary Health at Novonesis, said the agreement supports the company’s objective of expanding access to its products through distribution partners. He noted continued growth in soybean and pulse crop segments, supported by products including Optimize®, NodPro®, Cell-Tech® XC, TagTeam® BioniQ®, and Cell-Tech® Multi-Pulse.

Rovensa Next has expanded its presence in the United States through the integration of companies including Oro Agri, Agro-K, and Cosmocel. The United States is the company’s third-largest market by revenue and is served through regional and national distribution channels.

Chuck Broughton, Head of North America at Rovensa Next, said the combined portfolio is intended to provide growers with biological products that address crop production requirements and support farm returns.

As part of the agreement, Rovensa Next will assume commercial responsibility for products focused on soybeans, corn, pulses, and peanuts, including Optimize®, NodPro®, Torque®, Ratchet®, BioniQ®, TagTeam®, QuickRoots®, Cell-Tech®, and JumpStart®. For fruit and vegetable crops, Actinovate® will be distributed by Rovensa Next alongside its biocontrol portfolio.

Novonesis will retain selected business segments, including the forage portfolio of Optimize® and Nitragin® products used in alfalfa and clover crops.
