Sonalika Reports February Sales of 12,890 Tractors

04 March 2026, New Delhi: Sonalika Tractors reported total tractor sales of 12,890 units in February FY26, the highest February sales recorded by the company. The performance comes as the company marks 30 years of operations in agricultural mechanisation.

The company stated that its sales performance reflects continued demand for tractors as mechanisation expands in Indian agriculture. Precision farming practices and the adoption of agri-technologies are contributing to the increasing use of farm machinery in several regions.

India’s agricultural sector is witnessing changes driven by policy support, mechanisation initiatives, access to credit, and rural infrastructure spending aimed at improving farm productivity and income levels. Tractor manufacturers are responding with products designed for different farming requirements.

Sonalika Tractors has introduced tractor models including the Sonalika Gold Series during the year. According to the company, these tractors are designed for field operations across different cropping systems and farm conditions.

The company said mechanisation continues to play a role in farm operations as labour availability, farm efficiency requirements, and cropping intensity influence machinery adoption in India.

Commenting on the February sales figures, Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director of International Tractors Limited, said farmers continue to drive agricultural production across the country and tractor technology is being developed to support farm operations.

He said the company’s February sales of 12,890 tractors during its 30th year reflects continued engagement with farmers and the role of mechanisation in agricultural operations in India.
