New Delhi, 2 May 2026: Sonalika Tractors reported overall sales of 16,223 tractors in April 2026. The company’s growth of 35.6% exceeded the estimated industry growth of 27%. The performance comes as the company enters its 30th year of operations, continuing its focus on a farmer-oriented approach and product development aimed at improving farm efficiency and output.

The company’s performance is supported by higher foodgrain production levels and increased mechanisation, partly influenced by GST rate adjustments. Industry trends indicate a growing role of technology-led product portfolios and execution capabilities in driving agricultural growth. Rural demand continues to be influenced by weather conditions and farm-level productivity expectations.

Sonalika Tractors supplies tractors to more than 1.9 million farmers. The company operates an integrated tractor manufacturing facility and maintains in-house research and development capabilities. Its product range is designed for multiple agricultural applications.

Mr. Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director, International Tractors Limited, said the April sales performance reflects continued demand for mechanisation and technology-based farming solutions. He added that the company will continue to focus on product development and farmer engagement in FY’27, including expansion of its product portfolio such as the Gold Series.
