IFFCO-MC Marks 12th Foundation Day, Highlights Innovation and Farmer Welfare

IFFCO-MC marks 11 years of operations with continued focus on quality crop protection solutions, innovation and farmer-centric initiatives

09 September 2026, Gurugram: IFFCO-MC Crop Science Private Limited, the joint venture between Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) and Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan, has marked its 12th Foundation Day, reaffirming its commitment to innovation, quality crop protection solutions and farmer welfare.

The company has completed 11 years of operations in India, during which it has expanded its crop protection portfolio and strengthened its farmer outreach network. The Foundation Day celebrations brought together senior leadership and representatives from IFFCO and Mitsubishi Corporation to reflect on the company’s journey and its contribution to Indian agriculture.

Speaking on the occasion, Dileep Sanghani, Chairman, IFFCO and IFFCO-MC, said the company’s growth has remained closely linked to its objective of serving farmers and responding to the changing needs of Indian agriculture.

Over the past 11 years, IFFCO-MC has developed a portfolio covering insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, plant growth regulators and biological products. The company said its portfolio expansion is focused on providing farmers with quality crop protection solutions while supporting improved crop health, productivity and more sustainable agricultural practices.

IFFCO-MC has also established an extensive farmer-connect network through cooperative societies, channel partners, IFFCO Bazars, Farmer Service Centres and other touchpoints across India.
