Nichino America Marks 25 Years of Innovation and Partnership in North American Agriculture
11 March 2026, Delaware: Nichino America, Inc. has announced the celebration of its 25th anniversary, marking a quarter-century of operations in North American agriculture. Established in 2001 as a subsidiary of the Nichino Group, the company has expanded its presence by developing and marketing crop protection solutions aimed at supporting growers and improving farm productivity.
Over the past two and a half decades, Nichino America has built a portfolio of insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides designed to help farmers manage pests and diseases across a range of high-value crops. The company’s solutions are widely used in crops such as almonds, grapes, citrus, cotton, and peanuts, reflecting its focus on specialty crop segments.
“Reaching this 25-year milestone is a testament to the dedication of our team, the strength of our partnerships, and the resilience of the growers we serve,” said Dustin Simons, President of Nichino America. “While we take pride in our journey so far, our focus remains on developing the next generation of crop protection chemistry to support modern agriculture.”
Nichino America was established to bring the research and development capabilities of the Nichino Group to the North American market. Over the years, the company has expanded its technical and field support teams, working closely with distributors and growers to provide agronomic guidance and product development support.
The company has also strengthened its research pipeline through the development and licensing of new active ingredients aimed at addressing evolving pest pressures and changing crop production needs.
Commenting on the milestone, Jeffrey Johnson, Chairman of Nichino America, said the anniversary reflects the long-term trust built with the agricultural community. “Twenty-five years represents the relationships we have developed with growers and partners across the region. Our mission remains centered on advancing crop protection science while supporting the farmers who depend on it.”
Nichino America plans to commemorate the anniversary throughout 2026 with initiatives highlighting its partnerships with growers, distributors, and industry stakeholders, while reaffirming its mission of “Serving Agriculture, Protecting Crops, Improving Lives.”
