ADAMA Launches Novali™ Liquid Pyroxasulfone Herbicide for Row Crops in the United States
25 June 2026, Israel: ADAMA Ltd. announced the launch of Novali™, a liquid Pyroxasulfone herbicide developed for row crops in the United States, including soybean and corn production. The product contains 40% more active ingredient per gallon than standard liquid Pyroxasulfone formulations and is intended for residual weed control.
Novali™ is formulated using ADAMA’s Sesgama™ formulation technology and is designed to reduce handling, transport, storage, and refill requirements while providing residual weed control.
Germain Boulay, Head of Global Herbicides at ADAMA, said the product combines formulation technology with established chemistry and is designed to fit into weed management programs through a higher-concentration liquid formulation and residual weed control. He added that it supports growers in addressing changing agronomic conditions.
According to the company, Novali™ provides residual control of weeds before emergence and can be incorporated into weed management programs where herbicide resistance is a concern. The liquid formulation is intended to simplify handling and dosing while eliminating dust associated with some dry formulations.
The launch forms part of ADAMA’s weed management strategy for row crops in the United States. The company said additional formulations are expected to be introduced in the future to expand its portfolio for row crop producers.
Commercial sales of Novali™ began in June 2026.
