
India’s Largest Frozen Potato Products Plant Inaugurated in Gujarat
26 May 2025, New Delhi: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated Falcon Agrifriz’s state-of-the-art frozen potato products plant in Kadi, Mehsana district of Gujarat. Built with an investment of $126.5 million, this is India’s largest facility for producing frozen French fries, potato wedges, hash browns, and nuggets.
The plant is expected to boost employment and uplift local farmers through contract farming, aligning with the Government of India’s vision to strengthen the food processing sector.
Equipped with advanced technology and designed with a focus on hygiene and sustainability, the plant reflects Falcon Agrifriz’s commitment to innovation and responsible manufacturing. This development marks a significant step in India’s emergence as a global hub for high-quality frozen food products.
