Paradeep Phosphates Reports 36% Q1 FY27 Revenue Growth
29 July 2026, Bengaluru: Paradeep Phosphates Ltd reported a strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY27, with revenue from operations increasing 36% year-on-year to ₹6,124 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. The company also announced a new investment in specialty chemicals as part of its diversification strategy.
During the quarter, EBITDA increased 24% year-on-year to ₹764 crore, while profit before tax (PBT) rose 24% to ₹526 crore. Profit after tax (PAT) stood at ₹393 crore, compared with approximately ₹317 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Sales volume reached 9.85 lakh metric tonnes (LMT), reflecting a 4% increase over the previous year.
The company said its performance was achieved despite volatility in global raw material markets amid geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Paradeep Phosphates attributed the results to diversified sourcing of key raw materials, supply chain efficiencies and its nationwide distribution network.
Commenting on the results, N. Suresh Krishnan, Managing Director & CEO, said the company’s integrated operations and sourcing strategy enabled it to manage global market volatility while maintaining efficient plant operations during the quarter.
He added that the first phase of the company’s phosphoric acid expansion project at Paradeep, which will increase annual capacity from 500,000 metric tonnes to 700,000 metric tonnes, remains on schedule.
The Board of Directors also approved an investment of ₹250 crore to establish an Aluminium Fluoride (AlF₃) manufacturing plant at Paradeep. According to the company, the project is intended to expand its presence in industrial and specialty chemicals while creating value from by-products generated during fertilizer manufacturing. The initiative is expected to strengthen Paradeep Phosphates’ non-subsidy business portfolio over the long term.
