Flometoquin 10% SC is a novel insecticide-acaricide formulation containing Flometoquin 10% SC, developed from technology originating in Japan and registered in India by PI Industries. Flometoquin is classified as an insecticide and is recognized as a new active ingredient in India’s pesticide regulatory framework. The Central Insecticides Board approved Flometoquin as a new insecticide, while subsequent registration developments have enabled its formulation and commercialization in India.
The formulation is particularly relevant to advanced management of sucking and chewing insect pests, with Flometoquin technology being positioned for crops including chilli, cabbage and cauliflower.
