03 November 2026, Almería, ES: BASF Agricultural Solutions Spain presented its Revyona® fungicide to more than 190 agricultural professionals during two events held in Almería on October 27 and Cartagena on October 28, 2026.
Held under the theme “Same, but Different”, the meetings focused on the development of Revyona®, its technical characteristics and the role of research in crop protection.
Patricio Fitz Simon, Director of Agricultural Solutions at BASF Spain, welcomed participants. Arturo Sanz, Marketing Manager for Horticultural Crops, outlined BASF’s approach to innovation, while Pedro Ríos, Technical Manager for Horticultural Crops, presented Revyona® and its applications.
Based on a next-generation triazole active ingredient, Revyona® is a fungicide with activity against fungal diseases and crop selectivity across several crops. Its water-based formulation provides preventive and early curative activity.
The programme also included a presentation by Alfons Cornella, founder of Infonomia and the Institute of Next, on the need for innovation and adapting to changes in agriculture.
The Almería event concluded with remarks from Jesús Delgado Jarana, Head of Crop Protection Sales in Spain, while José Francisco Ferre, Head of the Southeast Area, delivered the closing remarks in Cartagena.
