India: New Holland Expands Farm Mechanisation Portfolio with Launch of HD and XHD Series Rotary Tillers
New range of rotavators manufactured in Pune delivers enhanced soil preparation, productivity, and durability for diverse farming conditions
27 June 2026, New Delhi: New Holland, a brand of CNH, has strengthened its farm mechanisation portfolio in India with the launch of its new HD and XHD Series Rotary Tillers (Rotavators). Manufactured at the company’s globally benchmarked facility in Pune, the new range is designed to address the evolving mechanisation requirements of Indian agriculture while delivering efficient soil preparation, enhanced productivity, and reliable field performance across diverse agro-climatic regions and soil conditions.
The new rotary tillers were unveiled at New Holland’s Greater Noida facility in the presence of Narinder Mittal, President and Managing Director, CNH India, along with members of the company’s leadership team.
Built to global manufacturing standards, the HD and XHD Series combine precision engineering, robust construction, and advanced features to support demanding farming operations. The new implements are designed to provide superior durability and operational efficiency, helping farmers optimize field preparation and improve crop establishment.

Engineered for intensive field operations, the HD and XHD Series Rotary Tillers offer several features aimed at improving soil preparation and operational performance. Their high swing diameter enables deeper tillage, resulting in improved soil conditioning and better seed-to-soil contact. The heavy-duty multi-speed gearbox provides flexibility to adapt to varying soil types and farming applications, allowing operators to optimize fuel consumption while maintaining a consistent, high-quality seedbed.
The new range also incorporates a Metal Twin-Faced (MTF) seal, which provides enhanced protection against water ingress in the rotor hub, contributing to improved reliability and longer service life. In addition, the use of DTM paint technology offers superior corrosion resistance, helping maintain equipment durability under challenging field conditions.
Following the national unveiling, New Holland plans to roll out the HD and XHD Series through dealer-level launch events across key agricultural markets in India. The initiative will enable closer engagement with channel partners and farmers while showcasing the performance capabilities of the new equipment range.
