Cell-Tech® is a microbial crop inoculant from Novonesis designed to improve nodulation and biological nitrogen fixation, particularly in soybean production. The technology uses specially selected Bradyrhizobium japonicum strains that establish nitrogen-fixing nodules on soybean roots, helping improve nitrogen availability and supporting crop growth and yield potential. Novonesis offers Cell-Tech® in liquid and peat formulations for seed treatment and in-furrow applications. The U.S. liquid formulation contains 2 × 10⁹ viable CFU/ml of Bradyrhizobium japonicum, while Cell-Tech® XC is a more concentrated formulation containing two selected strains.
Cell-Tech® is part of Novonesis’ broader biological solutions portfolio for soybeans and pulses, supporting nitrogen-use efficiency, early crop vigor, root development, and sustainable nutrient management.
