RhizoPlex® is a granular biofertilizer and soil amendment from Novonesis, developed for oil palm production in the Asia-Pacific region. In Indonesia, the product is known as RhizoPlex®, while the equivalent product is marketed as MycoPlex® in Malaysia. It contains a proprietary blend of patented bacterial cultures, naturally derived bioyield enhancers, stress-reducing ingredients, and diverse species of endomycorrhizae and ectomycorrhizae.
The biological formulation is designed to improve soil and fertilizer nitrogen and phosphorus-use efficiency, increase nutrient availability, encourage root and shoot development, support early crop establishment, improve stress tolerance, and enhance water and nutrient absorption through mycorrhizal networks. RhizoPlex® can be incorporated into nursery media, planting holes, or applied in-furrow during main-field establishment.
