BIOAGRI 2026 to Focus on Biological Intelligence and Smart Agriculture in Hyderabad on October 7–8
02 September 2026, Hyderabad: The BioAgri Input Producers Association (BIPA) will host the sixth edition of its annual BioAgri Industry Summit, BIOAGRI 2026, on October 7–8 at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, India, bringing together stakeholders from across the biological agriculture sector.
Themed “Biological Intelligence & Smart Agriculture,” the two-day summit will focus on the role of biological inputs, scientific research and smart technologies in developing more productive and sustainable agricultural systems.
The event is expected to bring together agri-input companies, scientists, researchers, startups, policymakers, regulators and other stakeholders to examine emerging technologies and developments across biological agriculture.
Biological solutions and the next phase of agricultural innovation
As agriculture faces growing pressure to improve productivity while reducing environmental impacts, biological products and technologies are gaining greater attention as potential components of more sustainable farming systems.
BIOAGRI 2026 will explore how advances in biological science, combined with digital and smart-farming technologies, could support the development of more efficient and resilient agricultural production systems.
Discussions at the summit will cover emerging opportunities across the biological agriculture ecosystem, including research and innovation, commercialization, regulatory developments and collaboration between industry and scientific institutions.
The summit follows five previous BIOAGRI editions held between 2021 and 2025 and is intended to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among participants across the sector.
BIPA Startup Challenge to spotlight emerging technologies
The BIPA Startup Challenge 2026 will be held alongside the summit, providing early-stage companies and entrepreneurs with an opportunity to present technologies and business ideas focused on biological agriculture.
Selected startups will pitch their solutions to a panel comprising industry leaders, investors and researchers. The initiative is designed to highlight emerging companies working on technologies that could contribute to the development of biological and sustainable agriculture.
Building India’s biological agriculture ecosystem
BIPA describes itself as India’s oldest registered association dedicated to biological agriculture. The organization represents more than 100 industry members and works on areas including innovation, regulatory development, industry collaboration and the adoption of biological solutions in agriculture.
Through BIOAGRI 2026, the association aims to bring industry, research and regulatory stakeholders together to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing India’s growing biological agriculture sector.
The summit comes as biological inputs, including biostimulants, biocontrol products, microbial solutions and other biological technologies, become an increasingly important area of research and investment in agriculture globally.
BIOAGRI 2026 is expected to provide a platform for stakeholders to assess these developments and discuss how biological innovation and smart agriculture technologies could contribute to the future of farming in India and beyond.
