ICL Appoints Asaf Alperovitz as Chief Financial Officer; Aviram Lahav to Retire in June 2026

11 March 2026, Israel: ICL Group Ltd. has announced the appointment of Asaf Alperovitz as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the company’s executive management team, effective June 15, 2026. He will succeed Aviram Lahav, who will conclude his tenure with the company on the same date as he moves toward retirement.

According to the company, the appointment was approved by the Board of Directors as part of its leadership transition plan.

Commenting on the development, Elad Aharonson, President and CEO of ICL, thanked Lahav for his contributions to the organization. He noted that Lahav played an important role in the company and appreciated his professionalism, extensive experience, and partnership during his tenure.

Alperovitz brings more than two decades of senior financial leadership experience to the role. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at SolarEdge Technologies and has previously held CFO positions at Delta Galil Industries and Syneron Candela. Earlier in his career, he served as CEO of Allmed Solutions and held senior management roles at Ernst & Young, including leading the firm’s Israeli Desk.

Alperovitz holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in Israel.

Aharonson said the company is confident that Alperovitz’s extensive global experience in public companies and senior management roles will support ICL’s continued growth and the execution of its strategic plans. The company also congratulated him on joining the executive management team.

ICL is a global specialty minerals company that develops mineral-based solutions for agriculture, food, and industrial markets.
