CropLife Europe Comment On New Regulation On Labelling Of Pesticides
22 June 2026, EU: CropLife Europe has welcomed the European Union’s new pesticide labelling regulation, describing the transition to digital labels as an important step toward improving access to critical product information and supporting sustainable crop protection practices.
The organization stated that clear and accessible information is essential for the safe and responsible use of plant protection products. By enabling digital labels, the new rules will make complex regulatory information easier to access, update, and apply in the field.
CropLife Europe highlighted that its AgriGuide platform is already aligned with the objectives of the regulation, providing farmers with immediate access to the latest authorised label information in a practical and user-friendly format.
According to the industry association, digital labelling will not only support compliance with good agricultural practices but also accelerate the adoption of precision and digital farming technologies. Improved access to real-time information can help farmers make better-informed decisions while meeting environmental and safety requirements.
