09 September 2026, Nashik: DCM Shriram Limited has launched Shriram Zarwin in India, introducing the fungicide to the country’s crop protection market for the first time.
The product was launched in Nashik in the presence of grape growers, distributors and retailers. During the event, grape growers shared their observations and positive feedback from field demonstrations conducted in grape vineyards.
Shriram Zarwin contains Oxathiapiprolin 0.6% + Mancozeb 60% w/w WG and is positioned for the management of Downy Mildew in grapes.
The fungicide is intended for preventive disease management and provides rainfastness. According to the company, its use supports the development of healthy new leaves and disease-free, strong bunches, with the potential to improve marketable yield. It can also be used as part of resistance management programs.
Shriram Zarwin is recommended and approved by the National Research Centre for Grapes (NRC Grapes).
The product is also registered for use in tomato, cucurbits and potato, extending its application beyond grape production.
