Dehaat Launches Second Season Of The Great Wheat Festival With Rewards For Farmers
23 October 2025, Bihar: Agri-tech company DeHaat has launched the second season of its ‘Great Wheat Festival,’ a farmer-focused scheme offering rewards on the purchase of DeHaat’s research wheat seeds. Under this initiative, a total of 2,001 farmers will receive prizes including vehicles such as Bolero, tractors, and Bullet motorcycles.
During the previous rabi season, more than 1.5 lakh farmers from across India participated in the first edition of the scheme. A total of 2,001 farmers received prizes, with the top reward — a Mahindra Bhoomiputra tractor — going to Jitendra Meena from Bhopal, while Golu Kumar from Patna won a Maruti Alto car.
According to Shyam Sunder Singh, Co-founder and COO of DeHaat, the previous season saw strong farmer participation, and winners received rewards such as tractors and cars under the initiative.
To participate in the new season, farmers need to purchase DeHaat’s research wheat seeds from their nearest DeHaat center. After the purchase, they will receive a lucky coupon to register for the scheme and stand a chance to win prizes.
