Syngenta Digital Introduces Cropwise Operations in Brazil to Close the Gap Between Planning and Execution in the Field
25 April 2026, Brazil: Syngenta Digital announces the arrival of Cropwise Operations to the Brazilian market, consolidating its platform as the most complete agricultural management solution in the sector. The new tool is the missing link in the company’s portfolio, which already assists producers from planting planning to harvesting. Now, with Operations, Syngenta delivers total visibility into what happens “inside the farm gate” in real time, all within the Cropwise Platform.
Cropwise Operations is a globally established product that connects 30,000 machines, supports operations across more than 50 million hectares, and generates millions of operational alerts per crop season, helping producers accurately track what’s happening in the field. This technology aims to help Brazilian producers solve a common challenge: the gap between what was planned and what is currently being executed.
“The producer invests a lot of time in crop planning, but the real challenge begins when the machines start moving. Cropwise Operations creates the conditions for management to see, compare, and act on the actual execution, allowing operational losses to be identified and corrected consciously, crop after crop,” says Gustavo Ferreira, Operations Manager at Syngenta Digital.
Visibility and course correction
Unlike isolated systems, Operations functions as an agricultural operations layer that connects planning, execution, and analysis. By transforming execution into accessible data within the Cropwise platform, costs are no longer estimated but understood at the level where they actually occur.
With this technology, management can observe more precisely and make corrections during the harvest operation:
- Real differences between plots: Explained by how machine time is used (production vs. displacement).
- Invisible waste in daily routines: How resources are consumed without generating effectively worked space.
- Efficiency variations: Revealing why similar plots deliver different operational results.
- Operational cost with precision: Understanding how small, recurring inefficiencies accumulate throughout the harvest season.
Integrated and multi-brand management
The major advantage of Cropwise Operations is its ability to consolidate telemetry data regardless of the machinery brand. This allows producers to have complete operational management of their business in one place.
“The key difference is clarity. When execution becomes data, the producer understands why seemingly identical areas deliver different operational results,” emphasizes Angelo Seolin, Product Manager at Syngenta Digital. “It’s a tool to professionalize end-to-end operational management, all in one place: the Cropwise platform.”
Another distinguishing feature of the solution is its flexibility of adoption. The system allows for recording the execution of operations through different means, from manual entries and the use of cell phones as trackers to integrations with hardware and telemetry, reducing barriers to entry and keeping pace with the technological evolution of farms over time.
The introduction of Cropwise Operations to the Brazilian market will begin strategically in Mato Grosso, with expansion planned to other agricultural regions throughout 2026.
The technology will initially be made available to a select group of clients and represents a new step in the digitalization of operational management on Brazilian farms.
